Blueberry & Buttermilk Muffins

These are to die for - but just a tad fatting also.

3/4 cup     all-purpose flour
3/4 cup     whole wheat flour
1 1/4 cups plus 1 1/2 tsp.    white sugar
1/4 cup    oil
112 cup    buttermilk
1 cup    blueberries
1/2 tsp.    baking powder
112 tsp.    baking soda
112 tsp.    salt
1    egg, beaten
1/2 cup    honey
1 tsp.    vanilla

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).  Mix dry ingredients together.  Add liquids and stir until just moistened.

Fold in blueberries.  Bake for 15 minutes.  Remove from oven, sprinkle tops with pinch of sugar. Return to oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes longer.  Makes 12 to 18 medium muffins.
